The room cleanliness was shocking-mold around the windows, blood on the bathroom door, and hair everywhere. It felt like I was staying in a health hazard, not a hotel. So unsettling!

The staff was pretty friendly, the room was high standard and new-fashioned with "large double bed. An electric kettle, an electronic key card and a multi-channel TV were great. The location was marvellous and beautiful for exploring this nice area, near the restaurant and bar and Wrexham.

great access to st winifred's well and nature reserves
I loved that I could take a short stroll to St Winifred's Well, just a few steps away, and the beautiful nearby Cheshire Wildlife Trust added to my weekend exploration of nature that exceeded my expectations and a lovely courtyard area that created a charming atmosphere. The breakfast could use a little more variety.

The rooms are pristine and comfortable, and the modern design is lovely. The attentive staff make dining a pleasure, whether at breakfast or dinner. While we experienced some noise on our last visit, the location near landmarks like Stretton Watermill added to our family's enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel!

great staff but more attention to room cleanliness needed
The staff were attentive and genuinely caring . They were really good too accommodate our puppy, even moving us to a quieter table to keep her calm.
Room cleanliness left something to be desired, particularly in the corners.
